I like the new wood. I think that it looks much better than the acrylic covered burlwood of the previous models. It looks great with the beige interior, and more expensive. It has texture. All around, I think that it is a nice change. I am interested in seeing how it stands up over time, especially here in the south where dashes are prone to sun damage, but for now it looks wonderful.
Before everyone decides to draw and quarter me, I will admit that the brushed aluminum in the Aero would certainly be my first choice (with charcoal seating, of course).
Anyway, if you cant live with the new wood, the old wood is now offered as an accessory item in the catalogue.
Let the stones fly, now.
