It weighs less than the TT (3130 for Viggen and 3274 fot TT) and has more torque (258 at 2500 rpm for viggen and 207 ft-lbs. @ 2200 rpm for the TT) and 5 more horsepower that occurs at 400rpm less than the TT.
My main point is that the vast majority of people will see very little benefit from awd unless they live in a hilly section of Buffalo. Most people don't drive their cars to the point where awd will add any benefit. For instance, yesterday I almost rammed into an A4 1.8t quattro because it was going too slow on some nice windy roads. I had to drop from high rmps in 3rd gear into low rpms in 2cnd gear. And I have snow tires on, whereas they had high performance tires on (can tell by width). For someone like this A4 driver, they are achieving very little improvement by driving an awd car.
If you like to go fast, then awd is definitely an improvement. If you drive at or below the speed limit, then fwd is suitable.
