I think we can debate on this all day
long only to find out that both engines
can be made to the same power, no matter what.
BSR has a 480Hp kit for the Aero...which
kills the gearbox... but would do the same
to the A6 gearbox...

I which case may I ask.. are those 2 spare
cylinders and a spare turbo on the A6 :)^

I think that you're missing the point,
this is not about how good AUDIs seem to
be, but about how much better handling
real AWD cars like an EVO6,7 STi or Integrale
provide... this is why I have 0 consideration
for AUDI AWD solutions... cause they are not
state of the art and for these prices the buyer
should get state of the art.

As to the V6 2.7T engine... I don't see the point
in using 6 cylinders if you can get the same power
and even better durability from a 4 banger...
remind you the 1993 integrale engine pops 380hp
in modified street trim and more in race trim...
thats more then a stock RS4 engine...

I hope that you will understand that Audi is nothing
more then an overhyped marketing company that gives
a damm about how bad its products realy are as long as
they get good press and sales they're happy. Audi
has always been that way, they just sell HP and technology
even if at the end of the day one can achive more with
1/2 the power and 1/2 the electronics they use in one
of their cars.

Fact is that each and every of their AWD, race or whatever
records they set in racing turns out to beaten sooner or
later. Just a prestige brand for wanabes that wana prove
that they can drive faster, not because of their skill
but because of the gazillion of gadgets Audi fits to
deal with their poor driving.

But at the end of the day... a simple EVO6 blows RS4s away
on a test track and even the Porsche Turbo's can't cope
so where is that teutonic technological advance... its
only in marketing.

Regards,
Coolknight
