Since I volunteered the comment about Iron Oxide, I will clarify. I am not speaking of the car's mechanical reliability record, or the manufacturers ability to maintain and support the car, only to the issue of rust, which I believe is still a significant issue for Japanese cars,even those that are considered high end. My comment is not meant to disparage the cars other attributes, and believe me,I think it is a pretty nice car,only to the issue of rust. I keep trying to look around to spot 10 year old Acuras, Infinitys, and Lexus,(Lexi?),but you just do not see them on the road. Since they sold like a bat out of hell ten years ago,makes me wonder where they all are. The few that we do see here are all rusting.Lots of ten year old premium European cars here that are clean and not rusting.
