If you take that same amount of money that you are going to throw at the Aero, and throw it at the Maxima,then what happens? I don;t think it's a valid comparison to say that hopping up one car will make it a match for a stock version of another. You really need to just compare the cars as they leave their respective factories.Most hot rodded cars are basically backyard mechanic botch jobs that have not been fully tested to see how long they will survive, they rarely meet all regulatory requirements, and are a pain to re-sell since the next buyer does not know what he/she is getting.
As they come from the factory, the Maxima wins the acceleration race, at least at sea level. As for the rest of the car,I'll take the Aero any day.
