The SAAB will outlast the Passat in most
ways. The 1.8T engine is designed for a life
of 120000 miles and the SAAB engine for twice that.
Then in a Crash the SAAB will outperfrom the Passat.
Also the SAAB is not that expensive cause you can get
nice discounts, so that MSRP thing is of no interest.
The SAAB also comes with a 2.3L Turbo engine that has
more mod. potential then the 1.8T engine from VW.
Just compare the size of the VW Intercooler with the
SAAB intercooler, were talking 3x larger on SAAB just
to start with on a linear, even bigger on Aero.
