Update: I tried a new gauge and all I was getting was about 33-34 lbs of fuel pressure at the rail. I bought a new Bosch regulator, just in case. Before I swapped that out (much easier on a 9000), I took the fuel pump assembly out of my wrecked 96 9000 Aero. It was running great until it got hit. It's been sitting for a year and a half but I started it up and moved it a couple weeks ago so I knew it would run. FYI, the fuel pump assembly for a 9000 is the same as it is for a 2002 9-5 sedan. Gas gauge resistance is identical, gas tank level float arm is identical. Part number on the assembly was identical. Dropped it in, started it up and I had 43# of fuel pressure with the vacuum line off. Fixed! Fuel pressure responds with vacuum and boost. So I either got a bad Walbro (TI Automotive) pump or it was possibly leaking internally at the pump hose barb because I didn't put a hose clamp on it. It was tight fit but maybe....?
