Careful, Jason, about running fog lights in New York State.
I think I may be the only resident who remembers that the same day that the "headlights on with wipers" law went into effect, so did the foglight law: they must be switched off within 500 feet of the front and 300 feet of the rear of another vehicle (I think I got that right).
Apparently most Pontiac, Lexus and Ford SUV drivers have their aux lights hardwired into their brain, as they always seem to be on. I guess I'm extra sensitive to their brightness (the lights, not the drivers) but then again, I think the lights are often an aggressive supplement with those types of vehicles. Just my $0.02!
Hey, speaking of $, guess how much my dealer charged me for washer fluid yesterday during my 30k service? $4.30 for a gallon! Come on--I didn't even need that much, didn't request it, and had almost 2 gallons in the trunk, which they would have seen if they checked the pressure in the spare tire. Hmmm.
Anyway, good luck with your lighting quest.
