when my '88 fires up for the first time cold, it immidiately revs to 2500RPM then settles back down to 1000, then 850RPM. As long as i can remember it has done this. There is no idle problem just the rev-happy startup. Does anybody else have this issue?
One thing I noticed today when I left the car outside overnight, was quick tapping due to the lag in oil pressure to pump up the hydraulic lifters.
