Ok, Ok….I can’t stand in anymore, I have to add to this post, 4 month ago I retired my much loved 87 900 with just over 340,000kms on it. Due to a job change last year, I moved to a new city aprox 2000kms away & during the process of moving, getting married & finding a new place to live, I made this trip (return) 4 times within several months. All of these trips were made alone, non stop & in the middle of winter. After those 20 hours behind the wheel, I never felt beat up or dead tired. I loved driving this car & although towards the end the repairs were coming pretty often, I would rather spend money on my Saab than on food!!
After 4 months of my 98 ng, yeah I like it, the price was right (less than 98 civics, corollas & vw’s), but I just don’t feel like jumping in it for the hell of it & going for a drive anymore. The seats are defiantly substandard, way to small & uncomfortable after just several hours and in no way will you ever convince me that it steers or handles as well either.
I hope that the new SS has much better seats or after 17 yrs of driving Saabs this one may be may last………
