Yes, I would also be interested in knowing why Abbott don't keep the stock base boost setting.
It seems to me that on all of Saabnet's BBs there is great bias for or against certain tuners. More specifically, Abbott is most popular amongst Americans and British -especially on the NG900&9-3 boards- while Vikings such as yourself -mainly on 9000&9-5 boards- seem to go for Nordic.
This is quite interesting, as it seems nationality plays an important role in how much respect and trust there is for one company or the other. Especially in the various fits of anti-Abbottism I am observing
