Jay: Although the new five speed auto is CAPABLE of handling the torque, it is still limited in first and second to keep the drivability under control nad to avoind the much talked about "torque steer". This is done within the T-7.My source- very high up within the company. If you have contradicting info from a credible source,please state. I asked about having the "key unlocked" in my 02 automatic, and was politely told."No Way Jose"
