This is one of the reasons that I switched to Mobil 1 15W-50 in the summer in the Northeast and now use it full time in Florida. It is also recommended by Mobil for high performance turbos. My Master Tech says to keep doing what I am doing after 120,000 mile service. Change oil and filter every 5,000 miles.
