I live in Maine.
And thank you all once again for your kindness in taking the time to guide me through this process. Perhaps armed with a better sense of what might be wrong, and some new terminology, I can get this guy to fix SOMEthing before the warranty runs out.
I thought about bringing it to a really good Saab dealer or experienced Saab mechanic (I don't know of one), and paying that person to go through the car with a fine toothed comb, and then write down for me everything that needs to be addressed, and then writing up a letter for the dealer requesting that he fix the named issues. Not sure that would work, though.
I do intend to forewarn him that I will be his worst nightmare as a dissatisfied customer, so he might want to think twice about creating that. :)
