Julia, take the advice of many on this thread and get your car to a indie mechanic ASAP. It's worth $50-$100 to find out whats wrong. If it doesn't look like you will get this done before the warantee runs out, write out ALL your complaints and send a copy of them to the dealer by registered mail. This will establish that your complaints originated before the warantee ended. A barganing chip if you end up in small claims court. Don't worry, you bought a nice car, but any car with 100,000 miles on it is bound to need some major service. Once you get this all straightened out you will be pleased with your purchase. So . . .do your level best to hold these sleazbags' feet to the fire and have hope. Good luck.
