My brother has his C900 convertible out in Arizona, so I was not able to help him with problem diagnosis on his clutch. Long story short, he brought it in to a local SAAB dealer in Phoenix/Scottsdale to have some clutch work done, and they did the full job, i.e. disk, pressure plate, master, slave, etc. (I have a strong feeling that little of this was actually needed, as the car has only about 120,000 miles on it, but some of the rubber bits in the master may have gotten old).
Two new genuine SAAB slave cylinders were defective, he's on his third as part of this job. And the car now has an oil leak that didn't exist previously, probably from where they replaced the rear main engine seal. His word against theirs that it didn't leak before....... you know where that went.
