With part throttle you still have positive boost pressure.
The Saab TB's are set up with a port located relative to the butterfly valve in such a way that looks like it will create a early loss of pressure or vacuum for the BPV. Perhaps a pressure tap at the manifold would be a lot better. You can remove the TB and reach to a desired location inside and plant a blob of play-doe or other puddt, and drill and tap into that with no danger of cuttings getting lost.
With the TurboXS I did not install any washers for 15 PSI. Again, any leakage should only be transient and such could only be characterized as not closing fast enough. And if you make changes to the gas volume of the spring chamber, this transient effect can be reduced. The TB ports are very small, so a hose barb in the manifold would help to, and the hose length could be reduced at the same time.
