my buddies 01 jetta's valve blew after he chipped it(the car). we picked up the TT valve, which we were told is upgraded over the standard VW valve that came in his wolfsburg (seems to be a trend of failures with vw apps). Can't tell the diff by lookin, looks exactly the same as the one on my 93 Aero too. PN's were diff I think though. I'm not sure if vw beat up bosch to skimp on these or what, by my Aero pushes more boost than his chipped vw and my DV is stock 93 with no problems.

anyways, I think the TT valve is probably a good replacement for our worn OEM valves for those of us who don't plan on aftermarket for whatever reason. (i'm still deciding).
