thanks for the input Chris.
My car seems to run pretty smooth as it is, but I have from time to time wiht my 91 9ks filled up on the good stuff, just to clean out the fuel system and I can't say I noticed much of a difference.
I also recall quite a while back watching a report on the news about how the gas companies were not allowed to make claims of your car running better on higher octane gasoline. The jist of the report was that if your car was designed to run on X octane, then X+ octane would do nothing for you. It sounded reasonable at the time. I guess higher octane would mean more room for error, but for some reason I'm still a bit skeptical. Of course, I understand that with the mods, you may NEED better octane.
maybe next time I have a long road trip I will try both...and see if I get better gas mileage with either? I will post my findings should I ever do this.
