What comes to MP Performance claims of power gains with their DP in T7, one must remember:
1. T7 adaption issues. It is quite possible, that T7 was not adapted for max power output after normal city driving. In these case, at least one run is needed ( for adaption ) before making any comparison runs.
2. There was several days between these two runs. Were the conditions comparable at all ? AFAIK dyno was the same, what about tires, tire pressures etc ?
3. Based on this one dyno run with this specific car, one can not say anything, which may be used for marketing purposes. Inappropriate testing was done, and the knowledge of MP Performance with T7 is not adequate. Results presented were misleading, because many readers can think, that they can make some real gains with their t7 cars by just modifying HW. With real gains I mean power increase, which can be measured as final speed of the quarter mile. Graphs presented have no value, what comes to realibility ( IMHO 200miles test drives without CEL are not adequate at all, it seems to me that these guys are just amateurs like myself ) , drivability ( boost spikes ) and performance.
