....cite, but T7 is a pure airmass based system. My understanding of ME7, admittedly shallow, is that it is both airmass and pressure based. What does this mean? - well, to me it's kind of like being square or round. Some say that "things aren't quite square" or it's almost circular - it either is or it isn't. I think the same applies here - the T7 is a pure airmass based system, the ME7 isn't, and hardware changes have more ramifications on the T7 than on the ME7. Just about every part on the engine was calibrated, during development at Saab, with the MAF sensor. The way I understand it is if there isn't a match with the highly calibrated proportion/integration/derivative values, then adaptions will definitely take place and the power held where it's programmed to be.
