They couldn't do anything for your clunking? I had an indie shop tighten up all the subframe bolts and that solved a clunk that persisted even after I had the struts upgraded at the dealer. It's the third time I've gone to a dealer to come out with improperly tightened bolts down there.
And, I just accidentially ran across something in the tech manual on AllData on high idle...they gave a procedure there, and four possible causes. Two were vac hoses (been thru that), one was a misaligned throttle plate, and I don't know if this one came up before on the BB -- a stuck-open EVAP purge valve. If it sticks open, the idle goes up due to the extra gas fumes in the system.
