that's why I got excited about the wrx, cuz it was like my spg, but a bit better. I guess maybe if I bought saabs new I might think them a luxury car, but I never had one which didn't have a headliner problem, or ripped leather, or needed the sunroof motor fixed, or etc. I didn't care much since a car is for driving, not for showing. the og's drove great (if a bit slow compared to newer cars). can't seem to find that feeling anymore.
as far as 0-60 times go, most mags say they are nto doing clutch drops. grassroots motorsports specifically said they were getting sub 6's without a clutch drop (5.8-5.9) and with it I think they recorded a 5.6. that's stock. Still hoping that saab will deliver an awd 9-3 with some decent performance, but if not, just can't justify buying a car that's good on performance when I can have one that's great, or excellent, for less cash.
