Funny how we can't get past our first loves. :-)

I recommended Mopar earlier because my other car is a mopar turbo. In it's current setup (2.2 intercooled turbo with plenty of mods) I'm running 12's at the track. I'm building a 2.5 turbo engine and street/strip tranny for it right now. The car it's going in??? A 1986 K-bodied LeBaron convertible--with wire wheel covers and old-guy luxury interior. The ultimate sleeper. I've had loads of fun with it dusting tuner imports, euro sports cars and 80's muscle cars. Everything looks bone stock. Even when you open the hood it looks like stock 80's Mopar stuff--all bolt-on (although the 2.5 intercooled turbo was never an actual setup). All that HP and torque is a blast on the straights and the highway, but like the 70's Mopars, pretty squirrely in the twisties. That's what my Saab is for.

My son inherited my dad's '73 Opel GT. He's looking to turbo that car as well. Should be fun! :-) Right now he's driving a '92 900 SPG clone we put together.
