i have done several of these jobs,due to diesel fuel,water,bad gas etc...to change the pump isnt that bad,but add in a diagnostic fee,time to remove all the bad gas from the tank,sometimes having to remove the tank to get it all out,replace fuel filter,flush out all fuel lines,pressure and return,flush fuel injectors,spark plugs,and having to pay a disposal fee for hazerdous waste,you cant just dump it down the drain,$400 in labor sounds very resonable to me,and saab hasnt assisted any of the customers at our dealer either,its not a saab problem,bad gas is bad gas,not caused by saab.its alot more work than many people think it is,trust me,i have been there and done that
