...to the car. Frequently my kids or wife will be ahead of me walking to the car. With the limited range of our Saab, they have to wait until I'm within 1-2 stalls of the car (or equivalent range) before they can get in. Also, as my Saab is relegated to the front of our house (I don't have the political clout to displace wife's car or excess junk in the garage), I can't simply lock/unlock it from the comforts of my living room while kids dash out to retrieve their forgotten kid stuff. With my old pick-em-up, I could unlock it from almost anywhere within 75-100'.
My wife's Honda Pilot has 75' range, but other crappy things I hate even more about it's remote locking operation (delayed light flashing when operating; no audible when first locking, but full horn when hitting lock the second time within 10 seconds; no audible at all when unlocking; easily unlocks unintentionally; won't lock with any doors/tailgate open).
With fortitude, I may get over the afformentioned shortcomings...
