I just came in from looking at the car:
I pulled all 3 relays under the seat and i get the draining pulse from 15mA to 80mA. If i pull fuse #28, the mA goes flat (in a good way). If i do the same while the relays are plugged in, the mA goes flat but then after 2-3 seconds they jump to 140mA or so and stay there. Maybe something to do with the alarm kicking in? (although i unplugged the connector from the black box under the rear seat... should that be enuff to disconnect the electrical current to the alarm system?)
Although i am reluctant to cut the wire to the clock (it just seems so permanent) and i really don't know if that will solve the problem, at the moment i am just a tad frustrated so i'm leaning towards doing so. If i wanted that to be the next step, how could i find out for sure which color wire is the one to cut? I assume there is no way to test the clock other than by snippng the wire?
