I took a look at your Options post and realize that you still get a drain with 28 pulled. Most of my post did not apply, sorry
Re the door open issue: To test the system with the interior lights off, definitely open the window so you don't have to go through the whole jumper routine. But since you do have the drain even with fuse 28 pulled, something else is wrong.
Since you have pulled the plug out of the alarm, I think that the problem might be the time delay relay. It gets has an unswitched continuous power feed to one of the terminals, and I am guessing that this is the source of current is leaking into the circuit.
Pull out the time delay relay and see what happens. If you don't know which is which, one is the door buzzer/chime and the other is the time delay. I think you have 2 side by side. If there are 3 side by side, pull the outer 2 to get both the buzzer and delay.(I don't know what the middle one is off the top of my head. According to Bentley the alarm relay is about 6 inches from the others.
