According to Bentley it's the only red wire going to the multi-wire plug on the back side of the instrument cluster. I'd also play with the time set shaft on the front of the cluster and reset the clock. Maybe it's just stuck and a turn will get it started. If still NG, snip the wire a couple of inches away from the plug so you can re-splice it, if you ever get around to putting in a new clock.
When you were under the seat did you find a relay about 6" towards the center of the car from the ones that were next to each other. Bentley shows some cars with 3 relays right next to each other(buzzer, light delay and ???) and the fourth(alarm relay) separated from this group. Make sure you pulled that one, too.
