Actually, the '76 HAD shims, but with all of them removed, the camber is still way off...It's bent is all.
I thought the same with the '77 but though I changed the engine, I kept the same turbo 4speed in there and the same half shaft. Either way, if the A arms are the same, the only variable would be the position of the ball joints, right? Could the bottom one be "out" too far, or the top "in" too far? I have had plenty of cars here that have had loose ball joint bolts that have ovaled out the a-arm holes but I'm not seeing that here...confusion.
