No offense taken. And in all fairness I should point out that although I have not had a single problem with my 9-3, I only have 5k miles on it and it is my first Saab.
Additionally, I would be lying if I told you I will always have Saabs and there are no finer cars available. I have to admit the new A4 looks pretty nice based on pictures.
I got a three year lease, which includes warranty and maintenance for that whole period. If I like the new body style 9-3 I may just re-lease with the loyalty incentives etc., or possibly consider a 9-5, but if not I may buy my current car or look at leasing something else.
My defense of the 9-3 does really boil down to value for the dollar. And I must say, I just got out of it, and man does it scream in 2nd gear. It is a car I still look forward to driving each time I get in, and I can comfortably squeeze two car seats in the back.
At any rate, I hope your experience improves or at least does not get any worse. To be honest I would miss some of the repartee I have enjoyed with other Saab owners if I were to get rid of it.
Take care, Erik
