you've burned your bridges with this guy and you're never, never going to use him again. But what have you really accomplished? How many guys where you live specialize in C900's? There may be plenty of places who work on imports, and they can do a lot of general repairs on your car, but the day will come when you need someone who really, truly knows C900's. Sure the other guys will take a shot--maybe they'll figure it out, maybe they won't, but you'll be paying for their learning curve. Car mechanics are a lot like car dealers and car salespeople--if you walk in there like Goldie Locks like you did with this guy, they're going to work you over. Maybe it shouldn't be, but that's just how the world works. When you walk into a shop, you better bring your "A" game and know your sh*t. I worked with a lot of mechanics but I always did my homework first. Once we established a working relationship and they knew I didn't put up with any crap, we got along just fine.
