My '00 Viggen had identical Dunlop "flat spot" problems, and I bitched and moaned at Saab as well as my dealer. Anyway, after a few days of discussion - including a printout of this BB's threads - while denying there was a problem, Saab offered me $600 in goodwill. This helps, but I'd have prefered an admission of problem and tire swap.

I'm still on "Dumlop's" which following a test drive by Saab's NE District Mgr apparently received a 'high speed wheel balance' - the problem is mainly gone in the morning, and slightly apparent around 50mph. However, torque steer more pronounced and my Dunlop confidence factor poor.

So - have ordered the Abbott Rescue Kit, Abbott 18mm roll bar, Abbott Rear Muffler, Motorsport Dump Valve (for throttle response), ITG air filter AND a set of Bridgestone SO-2 Pole Positions which I favored over the Michelin's based on wet traction.

I'll post an update in a few weeks once everything gets installed - only done about 1300 miles so far.

Then once handling dept sorted, perhaps another 30bhp or so from the Abbott ECU/Wastegate.
