DI Cassette - how to remove harness plug?

When removing the DI Cassette, does the purple plug detach from the unit or does the black plug detach from the purple section? I tried to remove it this morning while replacing my plugs but couldn't figure out how and didn't want to force anything. I just set the DI to the side with the harness still attached. What exactly should disconnect in this operation? Is there a 'sqeeze-clip' or something similar?

My car has just over 10K miles, and I had the 10K checkup done about a month ago. The gap on the existing plugs were WAY over spec. Glad I checked. If proper plug gap is critical to DI longevity, new plugs at regular intervals are cheap insurance.
