Thats a He** of a Idea! The heat problem sounds logical to me. I think its possible to tap into the fan housing for the cabin ventilation system right at the fan behind the bulkhead on 9000. The other models I will have to think about. Either way there would have to be a check valve to disallow any flow back in the oposite direction as not to contaminate the cabin air supply. The air supply on 9000 first passes through the a/c evaporator. Weather the a/c is on determines if the air in the cabin is cold. If A/C is off the evaporator is not cold. The air enters the center of the squirle cage and is blasted outward and through the ducts. A tap could take place on the outer case of the fan housing. The logic here is the hotter it is outside ...a/c is on full blast ,the DI cassette can be cooled down in extream conditions with cold air. In the winter, ambient air can do the job. I will be thinking about this one and might just do it. What ever I do ..It will have to be cheap, fast to install / service and effective.
