And what are the climate ranges you have to deal with?
Can you get M1 0W- or 10W-30? All of the M1 xW-30 wts are now ACEA A5 rated, so I agree with Dick that any of them will provide 10k kms intervals for you. However, for a turbo, an ACEA A3 rating will provide better bearing protection. (I wouldn't use any Castrol products at this point, but that's just me.)
I've been using M1 15W-50 in my '90 N/A 900 for about nine months now, & that's included starting temps down to about 12*F here in Northern CO. I plan on not changing my oil for another year or so (total of two years/10k miles). You could switch between summer/winter oils if it gets too cold there. How many months would it take you to go 10k kms?
I feel the M1 15W-50 is the best oil for a turbocharged engine, but I do have some concerns about cold weather starting. Because of that, I run M1 0W-40 year-round in my '99 9-3. If all I could get in my area were the two M1s you listed, I'd mix'em 50/50. (For a better VI match, I'd prefer mixing 0W-30 with 15W-50.) But mixing's a pain, & lots of folks get queasy about it. If I had to choose only one 30wt oil for year-round use, I'd pick Jae's favorite of 10W-30.
