Are SAAB's a lot more to maintain than comparable American cars? That is the question that I am pondering over right. I am looking at '92 and '93 9000's and so far it seems that repairs can be pretty costly. On the other hand I am looking at '95 '96 Oldsmobile Aurora's and repairs don't seem to be quite as steep?
I am Looking for a car that can give me three to four years of good service without costing a fortune, I don't want to spend more than $5k for it and, I can do a lot of maintance and repairs myself. So, should I go for a 9000? I have always liked SAAB cars and think that it would be cool to have one BUT, not to the point where I "Just have to have it! You know?
What are you guys thoughts on cost of ownwership?
