mechanic. Belt, rear brakes, gasket, some typical items were replaced. As I paid my bills, he always was courteous, smiled and said thank you in his soft spoken ways. But I couldn't help felling I was being over charged for labor, and paying list price for parts. The final straw was when an oil leak developed and it wasn't fixed after 2 trips and $400. Becoming disenchanted, I considered other options. I checked cartalk.com and found other mechanics in my area. The new guy had his own horror stories with the saab mechanics and told me to get the car over. He fixed the leak for a very reasonable price. I recntly went back and again, his honesty, love of his work, and prices will keep my going back. So, make sure you have someone who you can trust to do work. And if you feel you are being suckered, you probably are.
