are you saying that you have an absolutely smooth shifting box on that thing ? ...If so you have a diamond in the rough ! When I was shopping for my '91 , 5 yrs ago, I must have test driven at least a dozen 91/92 9000s and NONE of them were especially slick from 1st to 2nd. I finally settled on the car I own now, which has had its 2nd gear syncro replaced (supposedly) once already and it still is troublesome from 1st to 2nd and downshifting into 3rd. However its been that way for about 70,000 miles with no whining or other problems so Ive just learned to live with it. Its got 145,000 on it and I estimate that ive put about 5000.00 into it over the years. Still a pleasure to drive ...a 12 yr old car soon.
