first of all, in general, little econo cars like this are not very interesting to me, but I understand the appeal for some + that that is where the early adopter market is...
looks like with 220V wired to your garage, you can recharge a LEAF overnight (7 hours - 110V is too slow, 15 hours or so for a full charge)... if that buys you 100 miles before recharging, that's pretty good for commuters. How many of you actually drive >100 miles/day other than on long-haul trips? that's a long commute!
In terms of battery life, the warranty sez:
"The Lithium-ion Battery Coverage is 96 months/160,000 kilometres"
That it is useless for long-haul limits the appeal to those who want something for a moderate (or shorter) commute... not really something I would want, let alone need though... that it is pure EV should make it cheap to maintain I would think! definitely an "appliance" sort of car...
