BMW seems to attract alot of jerks to buy their product. Many don't know anything about the car except is has the BMW logo on the hood. Its a shame because BMW also has charactor and a very rich pedigree, but it gets lost. I originally got a saab because i did not want to look like i was trying to impress anyone. But some of the short commings of the 9-3 forced me to sell it, the 3 series was everything i was looking for. I wish saab made a car like that, all the quality and refinement...but without the BMW stigma.
GM is going to discontinue making Oldsmobiles, maybe now they can give saab the attenion it deserves. I'd be glad to give saab another try...but i need a better reason than finishing last in C&D. Being able to carry ply wood in the back and getting around in a blizzard are not good enough reasons for me.
