I do know that, but I'm still confused about this laundry list of additional parts. Will the water pump, oil cooler, etc. probably now go bad quickly just because these guys rebuild or replace my engine? What about the hoses? Sensors? Honestly, they never told me and I never knew that an engine rebuild or engine replacement somehow puts more wear and tear on all these parts than would the existing factory engine if it were still OK. I mean call me stupid, but I'm no expert and I didn't know that. I think it's more than reasonable that most people would know that and if it's true then they certainly should have made it clear to me before they took in the car.
Also, for the price I really thought such parts would just be included. Again, these guys kind of refused to go at the car on a time/material basis. That's what I wanted, but they wouldn't do that. They insisted on a "flat rate" thing and taking half of that in a down payment of 1500 :(
