Tom:
I was in a similar position about a month ago. It was a choice between the Viggen and a 3.2CL S-Type. Acura has a sweet car with just about every nifty feature available, all for $28,500 (price I was offered). Solid, fit & finish impeccable, reliability a non-issue. The Viggen was a tad more. Tradeoff: manual vs. automatic (I prefer manual). Saab character vs. Acura reliability & resale value. It was close, but I chose the Viggen. Saab's have character and a soul which no Japanese car can match (unless they issue the Lexus IS300 in a manual)!). Hope this helps.
