A couple weeks ago I was trying to explain to someone that BMW's are not an exclusive car anymore (In general, so the Z8 owners don't complain =]). They obviously did not believe me, so I took a very unscientific walk for 4 blocks up Newbury St. (Boston) around lunchtime. I counted 34 BMW's either parked or driving within those 4 blocks, most of which were 3-series including four M3's. The second most popular car appeared to be the Mercedes M class, which are about as common as a Ford Explorer around here.
