I just picked up a set of the SP A2s for my Jetta and they are great so far. We have the standard 215/55 16s on our base wagon and since they are only 7K miles old, I can't justify the expense of a new set of tires.
I understand the SP A2s are the hottest new tire (and reasonably priced!)--check out this link to TireRack re: the A2 and the Sport 5000--

Seems like a pretty clear choice to me. The A2s score higher in every catagory and are even cheaper by comparison in depending upon the size...
