The Viggen points very well with TTO (Trailing Throttle Oversteer). When I attended the Advanced VFA I spent a great deal of time of the skid pad playing with TTO. When we went back with the autocross course I was able to point the car about 50% of the time by lifting abruptly out of the power. My feeling is that with the stiffer rear bar on my car the percentage of time in which I can point the car via TTO is much greater.
I should also point out that recovery of otherwise unrecoverable oversteer occurs very quickly by adding power. This is a very important technique to learn.
Road Atlanta's lead instructor (nice guy and an engineer with a degree from GaTech) pointed out that the Viggen is much more neutral than he would have thought Saab would have let out of the factory. I think that I agree with him given my experiences.
