I loved my SHO as well. It was a company car that I had to cajole our personel manager into approving. I put 120k fun miles on it in about 4 years. Other than the Viggen seats, I have never found another that was as comfortable, and if I were to really have to choose between the two, I'd be tempted to give the nod in favor of that wonderful pneumatic lumbar adjustment in the SHO. The downside was that at 120k miles it had rust on almost every seam, the suspension was shot, and the trade in value was 2500 bucks (not that I cared considering it wasn't my loss) As far as maintenace on it, I don't recall doing anything other than a re-called clutch, a timing belt and brakes. It was reliable but at 120k mile it was also very tired and ready to be dumped. All in all, one of the better (or at least most fun) Ford products to come along in a long time.
So far I have not had to do anything to the Viggen at 21k miles. I do worry about it a bit considering how high strung it is, but I'm having so much fun in it I don't really care.
