My wife and I are going to get a Viggen this spring. To that end, we've been on a few test drives at our local dealer, Charles River Saab. Based on my experience in those test drives, I decided that the reports of the Viggen's steering sensitivity were greatly exaggerated--it seemed fine to me.
After reading this thread though, I just realized that Charles River has done something kind of sneaky with their test-drive Viggen. They've swapped the Aero "Klingon" wheels (and I think the Aero tires too) onto this test car, and it's been equipped this way for months. My salesman said that they were just experimenting with "a different look," but now I'm wondering if they did this to improve the handling of the test car.
Any thoughts? Does this seem a little suspicious?
