When the engine is first started and before you drive anywhere, the EDU shows the lowest voltage that occurred while the starter motor was cranking - this is a feature of the car and should be the default setting of the EDU. A voltage reading of 10.X V is perfectly fine, especially in the winter. Note that mine sometimes does not display this reading for unknown reasons, but that's for a different time.
On my car, driving just a few feet will change the display back to "temperature", then you can select the display setting by pushing the button under the clock (forgot what it says, but not the one that is labeled "R"). If you select the "voltage" display, it will show the charging voltage is while the car is running.
