I guess differing buyers all have different vantage points + that's probably good. Really, there are pros and cons to every model + every year (even 9-5 9-3 etc), and I guess some matter more to various buyers for various reasons.

Personally, I find the similarities to the 9-5 very minimal (wood, vents, cupholder) and the similarities to the Trailblazer significant (essentially everything else). There's a certain "wholeness" to the the design that is missing to me + that really stood out + that is what differentiates the 2 badge engineered models from all the others, not the platform sharing aspect. I think there is a difference, but on a pure practical side it probably doesn't matter. Does it meet ones needs? it's all good... not saying it's a bad vehicle, more just that it didn't quite seem to fit along side the other models (and obviously to more than a few others)... but we all look at these things differently, which is fine...
